In 1952, my grandfather, John James Hunn started John Hunn Cartage. In 1992, my father, John Richard Hunn took over the business. I grew up watching my grandfather and my father run their own business and create a family legacy. John Hunn Cartage was a small shipping company in metro Detroit for 60 years, finally closing in 2012 when my father retired. The legacy of these two great men inspired me to start my own business and I have based my logo on theirs. My ultimate goal is to provide the same kind of honorable, hard-working service they provided for 60 years and to carry on the Hunn family name in a way that makes them proud.
